Graham Travis

Dan Pearson

Graham has a deep rooted worldview that is the lifeblood of all of his endeavors. He believes we should deal honestly with people, do things right, and do the right things. Growing up in the same Ballard craftsmen that his parents live in today, Graham recognizes how important it is to have strong communities and strong families, and takes great pride in serving both. Graham is an alum of Trinity Western University in Langely, British Columbia where he pursued Biblical Studies. He took on various construction jobs throughout college from concrete to wood framing, but didn't settle into a career in the industry at that time.

After college Graham had the opportunity to help run a business as the director of a local swim school. There he learned how to develop and care for his customers most prized possessions... their children. This experience also cemented his understanding that communication and customer service are the most important factors in the success or failure of a business. Graham transitioned out of his role at the swim school to pursue his love for writing, recording, and performing his music. It was during this season that he discovered a new creative outlet... remodeling. Initially taking on small remodel jobs to help support his music career, Graham stumbled upon a career that combined so many of his loves. To him, remodeling is all about meeting new clients, sharing the excitement of creative possibility, working together to come up with a plan that works, and engaging his staff and sub contractors to give families the joy of a dream realized.
Dan received a degree in Visual Arts from the University of Washington. Following his graduation, he worked as a general field carpenter for several high end Seattle and Eastside builders. With a passion for expanding his knowledge and an obsession with doing things better, Dan returned to the University of Washington to complete a Construction Management Certificate.

Upon completion, he immediately entered the fast paced world of commercial construction. Dan was involved in managing projects ranging from $20,000 to $80,000,000, where accurate estimating, pre-construction planning and scheduling, budget management, and subcontractor coordination, are a necessity.

With a successful track record and a unique combination of arts, field carpentry, and project management experience, Dan has acquired a skill set that allows him to appreciate and engage in the entire remodel process, from concept, to planning, to a high quality finished product.

“I would definitely recommend Graham Travis to my friends and family...and I have recommended him on many occasions already!  He and his team were very hard working and detail oriented in their full remodel of our kitchen.  We get compliments on their work all the time.  They’ve given us a beautiful new kitchen and have helped us add a lot of value to our home.  We plan on hiring them again as soon as we are ready for more projects around the house.”
