The goal was to completely transform this 1960’s rambler into a modern farmhouse with an open floorplan that embraced gardening, outdoor living and entertainment for this active family. It took a sizeable addition and whole house remodel (except the kitchen and garage) to get it done. We added an entire new 1134 sq ft south wing to the home, a 400 sq ft backyard patio with covered living area, and a mudroom addition. All new siding, metal roof, windows, and rooflines re-make the look of the home and large bifold patio doors in both the living room and kitchen merge inside and outside spaces for epic entertainment and flow.
